WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON A CHARTER FISHING TRIP?

Your captain and crew put a great deal of time and effort preparing for your charter and are dedicated to making sure you have a memorable time on the water.

All charters are 7 hours dock to dock. The time of departure varies with time of year (according to sunrise). Typically, the morning charter departs at 5:00/5:30 a.m. and the afternoon charter departs at 3:30 p.m. Customizable charters and multiple boats are available upon request.

PAYMENT INFO AND TIPPING

A deposit of $150 is required to secure your charter. We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards. Cancellations or changes to reservations can be accommodated within two weeks of your scheduled date.

Showing your gratitude with a tip to the crew is greatly appreciated.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

All-Species Michigan Fishing License for all guests 17 and older.

You have the option to purchase an annual resident or nonresident, 24 or 72 hour license.
Wear soft soled shoes
Sunglasses and sunblock
Camera
Multiple layers of clothing and rain gear.
Try to get beverages and snacks into 1 or 2 small coolers and please don’t bring glass bottles. **If you'd like for us to provide your beverage and snacks, please let us know at the time of booking.
Beer and wine coolers welcome; however NO hard liquor and NO glass containers. Charter can be ended by Captain if you get too intoxicated without refund. This is for your safety.
Reel Obsession is a federally licensed vessel. Therefore, majuana is not allowed in any form.
All fish will be filleted, rinsed and bagged by your crew. Bring a cooler to take your catch home.

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN REEL OBSESSION ACCOMMODATE?

If you are planning a planning a charter for more than 6 guests, arrangements can be made with multiple boats.
