Captain Shane Smith is ready to take up to 6 guests at a time for morning or evening fishing trips. Fishing charters may also be booked during tournaments for some extra excitement.
THE CAPTAIN
I've been fishing with my father Doug Smith chasing trophy salmon and trout on Lake Michigan for over 15 years. When I was twenty years old I bought my first boat, a sixteen foot Tracker deep V. After years of fishing that boat and learning how to catch salmon and trout I moved to a twenty foot Lund Sport Angler. With the Lund I began fishing tournaments such as the Ludington Offshore Classic. I was really trying to fine tune my ability to catch fish. I was learning how to from some of the best captains in Ludington. After 6 years of fishing in the Lund we decided to upgrade to the Trojan 10 Meter we currently fish today. With the fishing room and stability, the Trojan makes for a comfortable ride and fishing experience. Come share my passion for fishing with my father and I on the Reel Obsession.
